We at Rhoé are excited to announce our role as the new Technical Project Coordinator for the Current Direct project, an initiative focused on advancing maritime energy solutions. Our journey is driven by a commitment to delivering mobility discoveries to the market, and this role presents an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a transformative project that aligns with our vision for a sustainable, efficient, and inclusive future for mobility. We accepted this role because we have the expertise and belief in the power of innovation to redefine energy usage in maritime transport, introducing a battery-swapping business model that improves both sustainability and operational efficiency.

At Rhoé, we are dedicated to addressing the evolving challenges of the mobility sector with advanced optimization solutions. Our involvement in the Current Direct project reflects this commitment. We are leading the development of state-of-the-art algorithms for the Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) platform, using novel technologies to improve maritime mobility. Additionally, we are conducting an analysis of inland waterway and coastal shipping infrastructure, identifying key areas with high deployment potential to maximize the project’s impact.

Our expectations are clear: to drive technical project management effectively, contribute to the development of a robust business and financial model for EaaS, and actively support communication and dissemination activities. We are committed to fostering collaboration among all partners to ensure the project meets its objectives perfectly. We’re excited to embark on this journey and contribute to a more sustainable future for maritime mobility.
